Briefly outline what you did and use tables to summarise all findings.

Eg The user was asked to perform 5 tasks related to the goals of the user study. The success rate and steps to complete each task is summarised below (Table 1)

Discussion

In this section discuss and justify the results obtained. – what can you infer, do, change as a result of your testing –Again summarise your data using a table.

Eg From the quantitative data listed above and qualitative data collected after the user testing a range of problems were identified. The user managed to complete 3 of the five tasks without any difficulty at all taking less steps than anticipated by the developers. Two problems were however identified during user testing associated with findability and placement of buttons (see Table 2)

Interface strengths and weaknesses

In this section highlight what worked and what should be changed where appropriate

From the qualitative data gathered from the post test questions and general comments gathered during the testing process strengths and weaknesses of the app interface were noted. Strengths were:

· Make a list of what worked here

Note: Some of the results obtained with observation and comments were not added to this list as being irrelevant. These results contain the following:

· The user could not find the information about how to delete an element of the price compare list. Also this result is based on the fact that the user was confused with the naming of the wizard (help button) at the start. This problem has already been identified.
