Introduction
Cost
The monetary value required to develop a product or service.
Inpatient Census
Measures the volume of patients at a specific time frame in a hospital facility.
Satisfaction
In this case, patient satisfaction would be the main idea behind measuring the quality of healthcare delivered.
Cost: Before any entity can calculate profits, it has to subtract how much was spent to complete the product or service and then profits can be calculated.
Inpatient census: Before advancements the measurement of inpatient census was done manually, however now everything is tracked through a computer automated system. The inpatient census keeps track of patient transfers, and from inpatient status to discharges.
Patient satisfaction: helps determine clinical outcomes, patient retention, and medical malpractice claims.

Cost Analysis
Based on the graph, it seems as though Peace and Prosperity Hospital reached beyond their targeted profit from July through November. Target profit is based on the historical data used to determine budget for the year. Actual profit seems to start decreasing again from November. Peace and Prosperity should reevaluate the target profits they starting from November all the way through the first half of the year. It seems as though Peace and Prosperity hospital serves less patients during these months and therefore receives a lower profit margin. Even though Peace and Prosperity reached their target profits, the margin between the actual profit and the target profit are very low, therefore it would be in the hospitals best interest to start reevaluating their target profits from November all the way through June to ensure the hospital can reach their fullest potential.
