Group Fitness Evaluation Project Instructions
1. For this assignment you must attend four Group Fitness Sessions and evaluate each one
using the evaluation form.
2. You can attend any of the sessions located at the IBC Student Rec Center including
Zumba, Cycling, Step, Kickboxing, Water Aerobics, Hip Hop, Bosu Boot Camp, Pilates,
Yoga, Cardio Barre, Full Body Toning and Tabata.
3. You have the choice to attend these sessions at either the IBC Student Recreation Center
or at a local gym of your choice. If you attend at a gym of your choice you must include
a copy of the Group Fitness Schedule with your assignment.
4. For each of the four sessions you must have the session leader sign and date your
evaluation sheet to confirm your attendance.
5. Summarize the entire assignment by completing a one page reflection paper detailing
your experiences overall with the different sessions. Explain what you liked/disliked
and why. What was challenging/easy and why? Has this changed your perception on
Group Fitness overall? Do you plan to engage in Group Fitness in the future – why/why
not?
