Gender and Age Roles in Business Meetings And settings

With modernisation age or gender has nothing to do with business because these factors don’t

affect any performance or results the only thing that matters is knowledge or skills. If you have

knowledge and skills, then you can go out and do wonders.

• Role of age:

1. Various factors were considered in stakeholders responsibility management education.

(Haski-Leventhal, november 2017)

2. Demographic factors in entrepreneurship like age, personality is discussed. (Chaudhary,

2017)

3. Examination by business students. (Elis, jul2004 )

• Gender

1. Gender role is discussed in Korean business groups. (JUNGYUN HAN, Aug 2017 )

2. The role of gender and family in business background. (Parihar, 2017)

3. Survey to find out whether gender play role in new business ideas. (Gupta, 2012 )

• Participation

1 US women’s labour force participation peaked in. (Jay Sham Baugh. Et al.

november1,2017)

2 They go to the same meetings have the same colleagues, strive for the same

promotions (Nikki waller,2016)

3 Nor experience that helps position the business competitively such as through

innovation as compared with older generation (Ortmans,2015)

• Business Ethics

1 females are more ethical than males in their perception of business ethical situation

(Rugger, W king1992)

2 differences are not influenced by the sex of the actor or the target of the behaviour

and do not depend on whether the behaviour involves personal relationship or action

(PsycINFO database record © 2016)

3 Major male characters outnumbered major female characteristic (73% us 27%) the

majority of male characters was in their 30s and 40s. (Lauzen, Dozier.,1994)

I will conclude it by saying that no matter what field it is Age,gender all these terms have

nothing to do with the profession but some of the countries still have such kind of concepts

which needs to be removed off the system.
