IT832 Modeling Group Assignment 1

This is a group assignment ● Work together in your group and research a problem that you can build a

model for in Insight Maker ○ You can use some of the example models that are in Insight Maker

Explore ● Search through the

Insights to find one that you like and want to research

● Once you find a model or if you have a research paper, find a related model

You need to have an academic research paper ● Find a research paper that

addresses your topical area ● Use the model that you are going

to create that is related to the paper to help gain insight and understanding

Submit the Word document with graphics ● After you have completed this in your group, submit the assignment. ● You are going to use this as the basis for your presentation ● Make sure to describe:

○ The research area ○ The type of modeling used ○ What you discovered

● The paper should be long enough to tell the story with words and of course with graphics of the model and results of the simulation. Previous residency papers are normally a minimum of 8 pages.
