Volleyball Team Outline

Organization Name

Teen League Volleyball

TEAM NAME

All-Stars Warriors

Purpose

This team was created to teach our young teen girls the importance of teamwork and self-discipline and explore their inner strength; it will also help each member of the team nurture their skills and understand Volleyball.

Type of sport

Our team will be playing Volleyball. It is quite a popular sport and interesting to play. We chose this sport because of the skills and tactics of the game, which is it improves balance, it teaches teamwork and not to mention it is a terrific way to keep fit.

Age Brackets

The All-Stars Warriors Volleyball Team is made up of teenage girls, ages 14 to 18. This is quite an expensive range considering the age bracket of most students.

Practice

Practice will be held every Tuesday and Thursday. Two days a week committed to training will prepare our team for any future challenge. The All- Star Warriors will go over positions and scrimmaging at the beginning of training on their practice days.

Location

We will be using the volleyball pitch provided by the recreational department. It is the most accessible playground for every team member.

Funding

We will require funding as a team. The Teen League Volleyball Organization has contacted local stores such as KJS market and Walmart Supercenter who pledged to contribute $2000 towards purchasing the team wear and practice balls and other equipment needed. We have pledged to contribute towards raising money to buy the team additional practice wear, team merch, and other materials needed for practice. Everyone has also been obliged to reach out to friends and family who would give them more money.

Staffing

A coach has already been designated for the All-Stars Warriors. The team also has a coach for specifics of the game. There is a defense and offense coach, who will act as assistant coaches and a college intern who will help with organizing and scheduling practices, social media, and all team communications.

Marketing

We intend to use social media as our fundamental marketing strategy (Li, Larimo & Leonidou, 2021). We also use word of mouth for marketing our team to our friends and other learners.

Equipment

Volleyball equipment was donated by a local high school in the area and local stores such as KJS market and Walmart Supercenter have pledged to contribute $2000 towards the purchasing of the team equipment. Parents of the team members also pledge to purchase additional equipment, such as nets, balls, protective gear, and team members' uniforms when necessary. The cost of maintaining the equipment will be divided among the team members.

Liability insurance

We understand the importance and value of team safety. This is why the league will purchase "General Liability Insurance and Accident Medical" as we acknowledge the need for medical safety which will be paid for by local sponsors such as Walmart, T Mobile, and local farmers markets. Furthermore, we pledge to fund the General Liability Insurance and Accident Medical to keep the league safe. The General Liability Insurance will cover each team member, property damage, claims of bodily injury, severe injury, or death. The litigation cost associated with the insurance is $5,000,000 per occurrence. Accident Medical is an insurance that will cover unfortunate injuries to every team member including the coaches, volunteers, managers, and other officials. This insurance is primary to help pay out-of-pocket medical costs of an accident or an injury during the game or training session. (Takahashi, Nagano, Ito, Kido & Okuwaki, 2019).

Rules

Everyone respects and follows the guidance of the coach. Furthermore, everyone is bound to have mutual respect. Everyone must have a sense of responsibility, and the blame game will not be allowed (Cho, S. L., & Baek, W. Y. (2020).
