Individual Assignment: New Hire Training Program

Purpose of Assignment

This assignment may be delivered in any medium of choice. This allows you to showcase your original work on social media or to link with their resume as a sample of work if you choose. The assignment itself is a module to a new hire training program. This allows you to develop logical organization of training content and craft the communication level appropriate to the new hire audience. Assuming the audience has no background in supply chain, you are to help the new hire understand the impact of product design on operations and supply chain strategy. By showing the new hire how to use a quality tool or technique, you learn to discuss ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of a company’s operations. By diagraming components of distribution and logistics and identifying areas where technology can enhance operations, you apply course content and use communication skills as they train or teach another.
