The Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons Act in Thailand, enacted in 1991, aims to improve the potentials and capacities of disabled individuals through medical, educational, social, and vocational means. The act establishes a Committee for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons, chaired by the Minister of Interior, responsible for proposing policies, providing advice, supporting rehabilitation projects, and managing the Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons.
