Main point 1: Meaning and importance of global leadership from different point of views

Meaning of global leadership from Levy, Peiperl, & Jonsen, (2016); explanation as the article expounds on the meaning from different countries and understanding point of view.

Elaboration of global leadership meaning from Perruci, (2018) point of view as well as the importance of the topic thereby linking why it is important to attain global leadership. Also, use of an article by Reiche, Bird, Mendenhall, & Osland, (2015) also expounds on importance of global leadership.

Main point 2: Qualities and skills of a global leader

· Basis of global leadership Reiche,  et al., (2015)

· Relevant qualities and skills that makes one an effective leader as described by Hassanzadeh, et al., (2015).

· How identified skills and qualities of a global leadership makes one an effective global leader as featured in (Carrillo, 2019)

Main point 4: Challenges facing and hindering the development of global leadership skills and qualities

· Why some leaders despite going through training and global leadership skills acquisition fail to do so

· Solutions to challenges being faced when learning and practicing global leadership

Findings

· Global leadership can be learned either in class or closely working and relating with global leaders.

· Global leadership has become increasingly important due to globalization and hiring a diverse work force

· There are challenges facing effective learning of global leadership but the good thing is that the challenges can be addressed.

· A high number of leaders despite operating on local levels have global leadership skills and knowledge after going through extensive training

Recommendations

· All leaders must learn to be effective global leaders as the world is becoming globalized that ever before and international market expanding the more

· Global leadership discipline should be made mandatory and accessible for all people as these would help them to learn the skills and gradually practice them till perfection is attained.

Conclusion

Global leadership is an almost a must thing for leaders in the present day. It is becoming increasingly important due to high rate of globalization thereby increasing rate of employees diversification. Having global leadership skills is important for the leaders and the employees as it helps one to be ethical and effective. Moreover, it places a leader in a good position where he/she can lead people without challenges. It is hence recommendable that all people aspiring to be leaders in different categories and learn and practice global leadership.
