Introduction (It goes in the second page) (Each paragraph needs to be indent) (You have long paragraphs, it needs to be distributed)
Basing your information on the striping and downsizing of the organizations’ core assets in the 19th century, knowledge always surpassed the downsizing aspects. Most of the organization came into realization on the lost assets thus established a framework for managing their existing and future know-how on the assets. Progressively, the companies are focused on the establishment of explicit management in the knowledge assets and seek to leverage the experiences, know-how as well as the judgment of the prevailing situations within varying organization. There has been renewed interest in the last decade on the knowledge management and the dynamics of the creation of knowledge and sharing within the institutions. This has been seemingly arising from the research prominence and practices that exist around the knowledge management. It is important to note that the most competitive advantage in this ear is knowledge and information. Knowledge refers to a justified belief that augments the capacity of the organization for effectual action. The knowledge that is vital to organizations would entail principles, theories, values, expert insights, valuable opinions, effective ideas and contextual information that demonstrates a fluid mix of experiences, expertise information, values and contextual information providing a framework for integrating new experiences and relative information. Knowledge entails the following magnitude; tacit and explicit on basis of the work performed. The tacit magnitude is on basis of experiences, thoughts and feeling in a work context which comprise of technical working and cognitive. The technical working entails the know-how and the relative skills that are associated with a specific context whereas the cognitive aspects entail the beliefs, viewpoints, models and paradigms of an individual. Explicit magnitude refers to the knowledge that is codified and illustrated using communication signs. This aspect is further categorized on the basis of object or rule. Object-based refers to when the knowledge is codified in numerals, word or formulae whereas the rule-based entails when the knowledge is ascertained as routines, rules or standard measures of operation that discussed four relative aspects. The first aspect is ruled on task performance that details the methods that are relative for completing tasks of organization and are essential in learning transfer and embody. The second aspect is ruled in the keeping of records which details the specific rules that govern record keeping within organization and knowledge on the how such records should be preserved. Thirdly is ruled on handling information within an organization that defines the communication system within an organization, detailing its allocation and summary of both the internal versus the external information. Finally is the rules on planning that provides practical steps of planning and resources allocations within an organization and the relative prospect and conventions that apply to assigning value and meaningful interpretation to newly-researched information. Another type of knowledge is the cultural knowledge which entails to beliefs that suppositions that are utilized in depiction and illustration of the reality. Cultural know-how is hardly codified rather it is subtle over relations that are connected to a group (Mohamed, 2007).
On the other hand, individuals' knowledge is relative to the existence of individual beliefs, viewpoints, approach as well as the critical factors that determine the formation of personality. Social knowledge is characterized by the combined efforts of a particular group. This entails the norms that constitute intragroup coordination and communication. Having in mind that collective knowledge may have some relation to the cultural knowledge (Pa, 2006).
Management role in the process of creation of knowledge (Tile should be centered and bolded) Please review all paragraphs in the document are too long that will distract the lector.
To encourage sharing of knowledge. (review this sentence) On the basis of tactical aspect, the organization management must have the know-how on the existence and forms of knowledge. It is vital to provide the effective forums for knowledge sharing. Tacit knowledge entails focussing on the informal communication whereas the explicit knowledge portrays objectives on the diversity of the Information technology systems. On the strategic perceptive, the management must at this moment design processes, surrounding as well as systems that offer means and preparedness for its establishment.
Knowledge management in global perspective
In every organization, one of the most important functioning element is the projects which are a driving force in the implementation of innovation that is essential for the organization's competitiveness in the global economy. Initiation of business activities, implementation of changes in the organization, the introduction of new project and implementation of new strategies are formed through the use of a project. Project management thereby is a filed in management that is focused on the application of the existing knowledge, tools, techniques and skills in meeting the needs and expectations of the projects. Research conducted by the EU organization indicates that the major challenge in supporting and implementation of programs is the utilization of inappropriate knowledge on the specialty areas which is reflected in having low effectiveness and weak capacity for the organization to hoard knowledge and organization memory loss. This phenomenon may results in low effectiveness in the current projects. Results that are poor in quality, principles dissatisfaction as well as ineffective resources management (Bhatt, 2001).
The team members in the varying project should at this moment manage their knowledge both as a team and on an individual basis by application of the existing knowledge and acquisition of effective knowledge which should be passed to other individuals in the creation of new knowledge. It is the use of effective knowledge that determines or assures the success of every form of project that is implementation.
Globalization on the basis of the assumption of the knowledge concepts in managements refers basically to team work. The team are often established in the global institutions which constitute a central element and the resources used in the performance of the globalization process. Such teams are composed of individuals emanating from global organizations which are located outside the organization. Setting up of the team within the current structures of the organizations results in overcoming the existing barriers that are connected to the functional approach of the communication and works within the organizations. The practice of the knowledge management in relative projects which are presented in the studies indicates that emergence of the structure within the organizations would represent the principal determinants of the work teams that are appointed for the purpose of the specific project implementation. Projects implementation by the global organization irrespective of their origin of the team members or the project location is a natural phenomenon that is often confirmed through surveying producers (Hislop et al., 2018).
It is important to note the optimization which is a key concept in the globalization process and the success of the project. Knowledge management provides the operational dimension that leads to global optimization. The objective of the related projects would, however, be related to the execution cot, the scope of the project as well as the timeline for the project. The required task is to devise strategies that are effective in ensuring that the projects are implemented to the extended scope at minimal costs and within the shortest period.
Finding and results(It needs to be centered and bold) (This paragraph has missing information, you say, that the third question, where are the other two questions enumerated) (The third challenge, where are the other challengers enumerated) (Do you think that this study really goes with the question asked) Please think about it
A study is to be conducted using survey questionnaire that is addressed to the specialist of project management in an international business firm with a focus on the economic law and running of the international projects. The largest group was the managers who constituted to 30 people. The team specialist amounted to 20 peoples while the other respondent where ten people. The team when probed with a question on the business involvement in the projects; 65 per cent of the team members responded that their organization structure worked on high degree level whereas 20 per cent claimed that the working was very high whereas the last 15 per cent indicated that it was low. The participants who were from varying location and different countries (Bubel, 2015). The main challenge was to work together in coming up with a project. Another challenge was the meeting hours since the time zone in each country was varying from each other. The third challenge was also the practical means of communication that would be effective in giving the participants a forum in sharing their knowledge (Briscoe et al., 2012).
The core objective of the research was to identify the practices of management of knowledge within the organizations in internal projects implementation. Some other questions that were presented included; when the project is commencing, I can draw some inferences and recommendation from the formerly completed project, the knowledge and competence levels of the team members is sufficient concerning the project s requirements. The third question was the team members are willing to share their experiences and knowledge that are gained in the execution of the projects. Fourthly is that project management board has assisted the teams in accessing the knowledge that is necessary for project implementation.
One of the key and basic concepts is that experiences gained from the previous projects within the organization were fundamental to the knowledge management of the projects. This hypothesis was confirmed in numerous studies and content analysis and management methodologies of the project. Most of the participants showed interest in referring to the previous projects for more knowledge and concepts which apply to the current project. The significant of the team competences is known universally and undisputable. Even though the knowledge and competences of an individual determine the team members and the key roles that are associated with the selection process and recruitment of the right team members.
Sharing of knowledge and the team wiliness to pass it to the other team members was a common phenomenon within the system. Knowledge is often termed as a resource which increases when the team shares their concepts with each other. Concerning the approach that is sued, sharing of knowledge is positive in building a team as well as personal competences, developing concepts ideas and a feeling of uniqueness. Most of the members showed interests in sharing their concepts with each other especially during the project. The project management board has shown positive results in ensuring the continuity and know-how of the project. For instance, via a collection of the project experiences or creation of the training programs that are effective in achieving the set objectives or the main purpose of the project. It is thus important that the organization of the project infrastructure is done in support and coordination of the knowledge management in the respective projects.
Recommendation (It needs to be centered and bold)
Some of the key recommendations to the challenges that were experienced among the team members would be, training the members of each team would be effective in maintaining the technical proficiency which is an important component in the education program of the members. This would be effective in analyzing and solving any problems that they may encounter in the implementation of the project. Since means of communication was another challenges, then is it effective for the members of the team to use teleconferencing and video in the communication. The world clock will determine their meeting schedule and time. Any form of concessions should be made and communicated to the team members in the recruitment process. An instant messaging tool can also be effective means of communication within the team members.
Conclusion (It needs to be center in bold)
The survey results show that knowledge management is benefits in an implementation of the projects. This allows the creation and enrichment of both fields. The concepts of knowledge management in the projects are a universal concept that is not applied in a selected industry within the economy. Concerning globalization, acknowledgement management cuts across all cultures, geographical position an all business firms. In the modern age, it is impossible to find a global company in which knowledge and the utilization of the knowledge management in the projects is unaccustomed.
