General Characteristics

Germany is a country that is situated in Western Europe. It has a landscape of rivers, mountains,

forests and beaches of the North sea. It's history dates to two millenia. It's capital city is Berlin. It

has cities like Munich, and Frankfurt, which have rich historical artifacts. Below aremore reasons

why Germany is a good choice in this Project.

Economic Conditions

Germany is a social market economy that is highly developed. It is the greatest national economy

in Europe and ranks fourth globally by nominal GDP. It also ranks fifth in the world by GDP.

According to IMF, Germany contributed a whooping 28 percent of Euro area economy. Germany

actively participated as a member in the founding of the EU and the Eurozone.

Organizational Topics and Human Resource Management Analysis

HRM in Germany organizations is based on institutional environment. HRM of another country

can therefore not be transferred into the Germany environment. There is no hostility allowed to

the JRM principles in this country. The principles have to strictly observe the socioeconomic

context under which Germany operates (2008). For full comprehension of the Germany HRM,

the labor market of the country has to be understood in depth.

Governmental

Germany is a Democratic country with a federal Parliament with the legislative power in the

hands of the Bundestag and the Bundesrat. Since the year 1949, the country has been operating

under a multiparty system which gives the citizens the Democratic right of choosing their leaders.

Personal

I personally choose Germany because of the long history that the country has had. Being one of

the oldest countries in Europe, it has undergone a lot of development in the management sector.

The social-economic way of life of the people is a matter of great interest and therefore makes

Germany one of the mist unique economies to consider in this case.

Conclusion

Germany is one of the countries that have been through a lot of historical experience. With first-

hand experience in theWW1 and WW2, it has a lot of economic, social and political experience.

With the rich historical background behind this country, there is a great reason to consider using

it in this ESA report.
