Please see your Week 1
Assignment feedback. The
research question meets the
assignment criteria, but it
needs to be reworded for
clarity - I would recommend
here to say "how does this
help the organization's
productivity" [Karmin

make my paper strong. The HR world has been changing and even more with evidence of studies
that shows over and over that happier workers are hardworking and effective workers.
Knowing the value of your employees and letting them know how valuable they are is a must in
the HRM. The article separates and explains different HR practices which the authors believe are
the most common but keep in mind this will vary from company because some might have more
or fewer practices in HR. When recruitment is done and taken into consideration the needs to fill
the vacant position this can lead to positive outcomes. Training means workers are given the
knowledge to feel confident about what they are doing this having a positive outcome as well.
Performance Appraisal is the way of acknowledging the hard work and saying thanks to the
employee it sounds basic since we have been thought to say thanks. Compensation is another
practice of HR it can be a day off, a gift certificate, or even a bonus to show how much you value
them and that is the reward for the hard work. Another HR practice is job satisfaction where job
evaluation surveys are given to the employees. This practice is feedback for the organization to
see if there is something that needs to change. It has been proven in this article that the HR
practices well-implemented have the benefit of job satisfaction and better productivity.

From here forward in this
annotation, the questions
outlined in the assignment
instructions are not
addressed here. Each
annotation should be exactly
2 paragraphs long and only
address the questions
outlined in the instructions (I
also went over these in the
assignment help video I
posted in the class
Announcements). The
questions that need to be
addressed in paragraph 2 of
each source annotation are:
• How adequately does the
source support its thesis? •
How current is the information
in the source relative to your
research question? • How
credible and authoritative is
the source for your research
question? • What limitations, if
any, did you note in the
source? • How does the
source help answer your
research question? [Karmin

Annotation:
This scholarly journal article is about motivation as a tool in Human Resources Management.
Motivation is express in different ways within the workplace, it can be shown in the quality of
work. This article enlightens how motivation works and its effects on the work environment.
Motivation is the main topic for this article and it can be applied not only to the workplace but to
all environments even the house. Like the other article, the authors talk about rewarding as part
of a key element to let the employee the company cares. The way Human Resources has changed
from what it was only hiring and firing to know days a complex key department for a company
to keep afloat. Diagram charts are also presented in the article to explain McClelland's
Motivational Theory.
Going in-depth on how psychologically motivation works the authors have used certain
resources that I will be using in my final assignment. Material and non-material rewards are a
form of motivation to meet the organization's mission. With the emphasis on motivation, it is
safe for the organization to keep all the material and non-material rewards as fair as possible
because if not the outcome of this will be devastating for the company. Having employees not
treated equally is a big deal and it can hurt morale.

Human is not the same as we used to know it as a simple department for hiring, keeping the
personal information of employees, and firing. It was terrifying to know you had to visit the HR
lady nowadays it means progression. The book emphasizes on morale, how to boost it, the
consequences of low morale, how to be a good manager for the employees, and building morale
and maintaining it. It's almost a checklist of things to accomplish for companies or organizations
to care for the employees and employers. How to become the helping manager is a human skill
not all managers have but with a little training, it is possible to obtain. The authors are writing for
the managers' population giving tips and steps on how to treat people. Being a leader is never
easy and as a manager, you have to lead from the front.
You want your team to work together how do you do this if they don't get along? These types of
situations and examples are given throughout the book giving you different solutions. Also steps
to help boost morale which is helpful to everyone not only the managers. Anyone can be a leader
and not necessarily be in a manager position. Managers have the responsibility of the workers
and they have to train, motivate, and lead. Once the worker has managed a skill in his department
encourage to apply for another position with better pay this is a motivation the workers will
appreciate even if they don't apply for the job. Just this act is a way of telling them they are
assets to the company. Earning employees' trust is beneficial for you as a manager and the
company. The examples of well-known companies are a great tool and eye-opener on how you
don't need to do the same but there is always a way to motivate, boost morale, care, lead, and
gain the trust of the employees.
