Module 01 Course Project - Course Project Overview

Objective:

· During this phase in the project students will read and understand all provided materials.

Module 02 Course Project - Identify Business Requirements

Objective:

· During this phase in the project students will determine the scope of the project and the deliverable. In business, the stakeholder has an idea of the end product, but it is the task of the business analyst to provide expertise to reach the stakeholders goal.

Module 03 Course Project - Data Retrieval

Objective:

· During this phase in the project students will use the 2014FourthQuarter.xls spreadsheet to retrieve data that will be used to meet the project deliverable. Students will determine what data points will provide the required information to move forward with classification and analysis.

Module 04 Course Project - Classify and Analyze Data

Objective:

· During this phase in the project students will classify and analyze the data that is determined necessary to meet the final project deliverable. Students will sort, group, and filter data to look for outliers. Students will analyze the data looking for trends and progression towards noncompliance.

Module 05 Course Project - Business Report Presentation

Objective:

· During this phase in the project students will prepare a professional business report presentation. The PowerPoint will include high level and bullet points along with visual representation of the data. Students may use graphs, pie charts, and other visual components to represent their findings.

· During this phase in the project students will prepare a executive summary of their findings.
