Watch Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy’s short film Big Business (18:15 min, 1929).

This is a gem of a comedy movie. It was deemed culturally significant and entered into the National Film Registry in 1992. There are several YouTube versions of the movie, but I strongly recommend you watch this one, as the sound, scratchy as it is, best matches the 1920s:
