Formatting Requirements for Major Assignment 2

· Set up your MS Word document with margins 1.5” L; 1” R; 1” T; 1” B.

· Use Times New Roman 12 point as your font.

· Place a page number on the top right corner of every page using the page number function in Word. (Do not do this manually.)

· Double-space throughout, including the References.

· Use left align for the paper and hanging indent for the References.

· Begin with a Title Page that includes, on separate lines: your name, course prefix, number, title (RSCH 8310 Qualitative Reasoning and Analysis), Major Assignment 2, and the date you submit the paper.

· For the second page, begin with the title of the paper.

· Use the following headings and center them:

Part 1 - Introduction

Part 2 – Role of the Researcher

Part 3 – Analysis and Results

Part 4 – Trustworthiness and Summary

References

· If you use subheadings to organize content within each Part, each subheading title should be flush left and bolded.

· The References and citations within text must adhere scrupulously to APA 7. As a doctoral student, you are expected to consistently apply the rules for citing sources and to ensure that your citations in the References are accurate, complete, and correspond with in-text citations, and vice versa, citations in the references are all cited in-text.
