HRDE instructional learning
Evaluation Instrument Specification
For the selected soft skills training module design a formative evaluation strategy to test knowledge and retention for one segment of the training you are designing. The best approach for this is to ask someone not in your team to actually take the instructional unit and then ask them pre-developed questions (usually drawn from what you specified in the instructional objective) to assess if your training accomplished the instructional objective as you planned. Given their feedback make revisions to the training as necessary.
The outcome for this assignment is to conduct a formative evaluation strategy for the training module to test persons who have completed a segment of the training module for comprehension and validity of that segment of the module. This should be completed by the end of week six, a team member should write a brief summary of the results of the formative evaluation conducted.
