Implementation

Learning Context The previous lesson was an introduction of variables and it helps the students get a clear understanding of how to use variables.

Procedure

1) Bell Ringer- Complete 6 questions with variables (5 Minutes)

2) Set- Introduction of the material (5 minutes)

3) Main Lecture (20 minutes)

4) Directions for the activity (2 minutes)

5) Students complete the activity (13 minutes)

6) Closure (5 minutes)

Differentiated Instruction

Remediation Objective: Students will label the steps of each order of operation problem with no errors. (Bloom’s Application, DOK-1)

Enrichment Objective: Students will calculate the problems on the order of operation worksheet. (Bloom’s Application, DOK-1)
