As there was a war going on between Israel and Palestine. And Pepsi is Israel based company. Pepsi was accused to support Israel by funding them for weapons to attack Palestine. Many people in the nation supported the moment of boycott Pepsi. For few months sales of the products manufactured by Pepsi co. had a devastating fall in the market. Even I contributed in the moment to support innocent Palestine citizens by boycotting and giving up on Pepsi co. products.

Q3.

If I see Gurwinder cheating during the exam of Organizational Behavior. It will be my rightful duty and moral ethics to bring Gurwinder on track. If I ignore his activity today, He can suffer in future career. Therefore, I draft a mail to my instructor with evidence and request my instructor to not take any severe action against him and just give a warning as He is my friend too. But I will not ignore that incident.

A picture containing text, clipart Description automatically generatedDecision making is practised on a large scale in daily life. Therefore, which making a decision it is important to have ethics. The criteria of ethical decision-making are utilitarianism, where decisions are made based on solely on the outcomes. It seeks the greatest good for the greatest number. Ethical decision utilitarianism dominates the method for businesspeople. Utilitarianism promotes efficiency and productivity. It can ignore individual rights, specially minorities. There second criteria are rights. Where decision is consistent with fundamental liberties and privileges. It respects and protects the basic rights of individual such as whistleblowers. It protects individuals from harm and preserve rights. However, it creates an overly legalistic work environment. The third criteria in ethical decision-making is Justice. It imposes and enforces rules fairly and impartially. It equitably distributes the benefits and costs. It protects the interest of weaker members but encourages a sense o entitlement.

Global implications in decision making is no research on the topic, assumption of no difference. It is based on our awareness of cultural differences in the traits that affect decision making, this is a suspected assumption. Where as, no global ethical standard exists. Asian counties tend not to see ethical issues in the black and white but view it as a grey shade. Global companies must have global standards for managers. People who most prefer bounded rationality method, they tend to satisfice. For a better decision, combine traditional method with intuition and creativity. Analyze the situation and adjust to the culture and organizational reward criteria. Beware of biases and minimize them.
