District 4 Production Warehouse Move Project - Risk Table

1. Permits are not received per the  schedule

2. Finish work contractors walk off  the job half way through

3. Framing and drywall contractors  are running behind schedule and  can only produce half their crew  as scheduled

4. Work benches are poor quality  and 1/3 will have to be rebuilt

The table above contains information regarding the typical risks involved in the district warehouse project. Regarding the established critical path, these risks will have the effect of extending the timeline. When permits are not received per schedule, the operational tasks such as the framing, the electrical and plumbing tend will start off late and cause delays in all other successive tasks. If the finish work contractors walk off the job half way through, it means the procurement closure and project closure tasks will be delayed. This will extend the timeline further. When framing and drywall contractors are running behind schedule and can only produce half their crew as schedule, then the entire project timeline will be behind schedule because these two are central tasks without which the project will not proceed in a timely manner. If the work benches are poor quality and 1/3 will have to be built, then the timeline will run behind schedule mainly because the work benches will also include some procurement that will add on to the procurement closure task creating an additional path to the critical path.
