My Focus 2 Work Interest Code was Artistic, Social, and Investigative. Artistic has to do with anything creative,

thinking outside the box, languages and media. An occupation example would be something on radio or TV. Social

has to do with helping and working with others. An occupation example for Social would be a teacher or Social

Worker. Investigative has to do with math, science, and people problem solving. An occupation example would be a

doctor or phycology. The Artistic area is a good match for me because creative thinking and media fall under this

category and ties into me enjoying writing and my plans on perusing a career in media.

do with helping and working with others. An occupation example would be a teacher or Social Worker. Enterprising

has to do with leadership and managing skills. An occupation example would be Business Management. Artistic has

to do with anything creative, thinking outside the box, languages and media. An occupation example would be

something on radio or TV. These areas are fitting for me because being a Sportscaster involves me being social,

somewhat good at leadership as I try to move up, and artistic.

Investigative, and Enterprising deal a lot with my personal life. I enjoy helping others by volunteering within my

community and helping others, but I also like to oversee things.

My skills are Helping, Speaking, Writing and Authoring. These fit my choice of major because as a Sportscaster I will

have interview and speak with others along with writing and authoring what I will say at events. It also doesn’t hurt to

be willing to help when needed in the world.

My values are Creativity, Helping Others, and Influence. The Journalism and Media world involve me being creative. I

have to stand out and be different or I will not be successful. Helping others and influencing others are about my

everyday life and will help me with impacting and inspiring others in the world.

Personality

I agree with this personality assessment. I like to work with new ideas, to be open minded and I commit to project

goals. I do want to make contribution to help society. I think I can do that as a sports caster or sociologist.
