FLE Topic

The topic I am choosing for my FLE project is going to be “Teaching families and teachers ways on assisting children with ADHD in the classroom to help them succeed''. ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and this disorder can make it very hard for children to concentrate and remember things effectively. It also makes it challenging for them to connect with other children their age. I want to provide skills and techniques that can better help a teacher when dealing with a child under this circumstance, because there will be times where they may need to learn things in a different way from the rest of the class, but without making the child feel completely outcasted. Also, I think it’s important for a parent to learn some at home skills to practice with the child, which could help them in the classroom. I hope my topic can help/teach a lot of people out there who aren’t too aware or familiar with the topic, especially new teachers.
