First Draft Assignment

Overview

You will continue to research, identify, summarize, and critique the theory you identified for the Theory-Based Exemplar Paper (TEP) from the McEwen & Wills text or accessing various theory websites. The TEP: First Draft Assignment is a draft preparing for the final part of the assignment. As you prepare the First Draft Assignment, please keep in mine the more developed this draft is, the more constructive feedback you will receive.

Instructions

All required components of the TEP are included in the draft:

· Introduction

· Overview of Nursing Theory

· Exemplar

· Application of Theory

· Conclusion

· At least 4 current, scholarly sources must be included in the references

· A primary source (written by the theorist) is a requirement of the final paper and should be included in the draft. Sources should be cited and referenced in current APA format.

· Content of the draft is thorough and meets or approaches the minimum length requirement for the TEP Final Paper

· The draft should be 3 – 4 pages

· The final TEP will be 8 pages

· Points will be deducted if your draft is not submitted on time.
