According to this week readings in reference to Standford Encyclopedia, there is a desire to avoid hurting the feelings of another person. It is also indicated that courage in desperado makes him do wicked things as compared when he was timid. It, therefore, means that honesty, compassion, generosity, and courage are sometimes faults despite being virtues.
I, therefore, do not believe the views of Aristotle because the happiness of a person should be from within. Being greedy and lying will make you reach far but not a happy place. You can be rich, with houses and cars but be unhappy again. In previous days things were not looked at in terms of superficial things like nowadays. Today people are concerned about getting power and money which cannot make the same people be happy. It just tears people down. For instance look at Ashlee Olsen, and Lindsay Lohan. They possessed everything including money, great career but they abandon them in the name happiness, therefore, it was partying and drugs (the Thames, 2018).
