According to this week readings in reference to Standford Encyclopedia, there is a desire to avoid hurting the feelings of another person. It is also indicated that courage in desperado makes him do wicked things as compared when he was timid. It, therefore, means that honesty, compassion, generosity, and courage are sometimes faults despite being virtues.

It reminds me of Lucifer the new TV series. Lucifer, therefore, was a fallen angel whereby he was sent to hell by God. In the play, Lucifer takes the retreat from hell whereby he leaves and adapts human life on earth. He is curious in regards to the human way of life hence solving murders excitements. Lucifer being a party boy is careless, selfish but on the other hand, loves life. People, therefore, love living extravagant and rich lifestyle. From Aristotle's perspectives on virtues, Lucifer is sad. Lucifer is not flourishing in such a way that he will be happy. He does not like being the servant of Satan hence he does not love when he is termed as evil. He illustrates that he himself is not evil but enforces the evil consequences pertaining decisions of people. He wants to be normal as humans hence making himself happy by lying to himself. Lucifer is not happy and therefore he himself knows he will never be happy. By lying to everyone him included, he thus does wicked things. In the recent season, Lucifer is acting well and kinder. I believe as the season proceed he will become a better person (Hursthouse, & Pettigrove, 2016).

I, therefore, do not believe the views of Aristotle because the happiness of a person should be from within. Being greedy and lying will make you reach far but not a happy place. You can be rich, with houses and cars but be unhappy again. In previous days things were not looked at in terms of superficial things like nowadays. Today people are concerned about getting power and money which cannot make the same people be happy. It just tears people down. For instance look at Ashlee Olsen, and Lindsay Lohan. They possessed everything including money, great career but they abandon them in the name happiness, therefore, it was partying and drugs (the Thames, 2018).
