Introduction In this resource section, you will explore the leadership practice of enabling others to act. This

practice includes the vital leadership skills of fostering collaboration within the team and

strengthening others. When we think about enabling others to act, one idea that may come to

mind is the importance of leaders developing followers and removing any organizational

roadblocks that might stand in the way of being able to act.  You will also delve deep into the

various pro�les of executive skills and competencies that have evolved in the span of seventy-�ve

years. By viewing the videos presented in the resources section, you will know more about the

characteristics and traits that make a great leader.

In these chapters, you will explore the leadership practice of enabling others to act. This practice
