Hypothesis

Before I conducted the interview I thought that most of the customers were not very much familiar with the financial position of the company which were already existing in the industry. I also assumed that the customers will be bored with this interview, since it would have some aspect of mathematical computation in it and majority of them like to be asked simple straight questions which did not involve a lot of calculations in it.

Experiment

1. Do you know the amount of revenue as well as profit any of the companies which are in this industry have reported to have got in the past five years?

2. What do you think can be done to increase the amount of profit the companies in this industry are making?

3. Have you ever benefited financially from a program sponsored by any of the companies you know in this industry? If yes, how much money did you get and did it benefit you in any way?

4. State three things you dislike about how business are conducted by the companies in this industry? And have those things affected you financially?

5. Do you think there are enough legislations governing how business should be conducted in this industry?

6. Have you ever the opportunity of comparing the financial statement of the companies present in the sports industry? If yes, what surprised you most and what areas do you they should have improved to make more profits?

Results

I was surprised to learn that majority of the customer have interacted with the financial statements of the companies present in this industry, and also they had a lot of good recommendations for them to increase the amount of profit they are getting.

Iterations

I am going to change my hypothesis and try to get more insight on the customers’ perspective on the financial position of various companies.
