Outlet pressure = 650 psig

Sp. Gr. of gas = 0.70

Length of Pipeline = 70 miles

Average gas temperature = 80 deg F

Pipeline efficiency factor = 0.98

 

a)Calculate the pipe size, using Weymouth equation, required to transport this gas.

b)Determine the inlet pressure for this system if the outlet pressure is raised to 700 psig.

c)How much gas can be transported through the pipeline if its length is reduced to 60 miles
