This assessment also includes  RMIT Micro Credential "Collaborating online" . Each student must complete the credential by the assignment deadline. This credential will help you to communicate and collaborate online effectively. BE AWARE that you ONLY HAVE TWO attempts at completing the credential and the credential represents 2 points out of the 20 points that this assessment carries.

Submission

Each student in the group will receive an individual mark for this first part of the assignment (individual market view) and a group mark for the second part of the assignment (report).

1. The individual market view is due in week 7 and must be submitted on the course Canvas Friday 13th September 5 pm local time.

Your submission must contain the university prescribed cover sheet with the providing the following details:

· Your Student names and student numbers 

· Class attended

· Team name

· Details of the course

· Signature of the author of the Market View. 

Note: As you upload your assignment, note that it will be automatically transferred to the Turnitin website and screened for plagiarism issues.

A definition of plagiarism is provided in section "Academic Misconduct" at the end of this guide. If issues of plagiarism are detected potential academic sanctions will be taken, so please ensure that your work is free of plagiarism. If you have any doubt consult with your lecturer.

Penalties for late submission

Unless an extension has been granted by the course coordinator or the Special Consideration Unit, the penalty for late submission of an assignment: -  the mark awarded will be reduced by 10%(of the total assignment value) for each day (or part of a day) it is late. Assignments that are late by 7 days or more will not be marked and will be awarded zero marks.

Note: Extensions to submission deadlines beyond 7 days are allowed only as a result of a successful application for Special Consideration

 

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the presentation of work, an idea or creation of another person without appropriate referencing, as though it is one’s own.  Plagiarism can occur in oral and written presentations and is not acceptable.  The use of another person’s work or ideas must be acknowledged.  Failure to do so may result in charges of academic misconduct, which carry a range of penalties including cancellation of results and exclusion from the course.
