Abstract.

This is a proposal regarding the implementation of landscaping services. It will discuss the deatila and requirements of the proposal. A breakdown of the budget proposal the skills required to expertly execute are some of the areas of discussion.

Introduction

The need for ecofriendly office spaces provides the essences of consideration and importance of the environment. This as such should promote a culture of responsibility among the workplace organization. This is also a bid to renovate to modern aesthetics.

Problem and Solution

Mason Office Center is a lovely Georgian building containing four offices. However, the interior is not attractive or inviting for clients/customers and employees. The off-white walls throughout the complex seem dull and boring, adjectives the tenants do not want associated with their businesses. In addition, the air in the building is musty and unpleasant at times.

Green Thumb Planting can provide and maintain a beautiful plants cape in the building that will attract visitors and employees as well as purify the air and introduce more oxygen. Research shows that people respond positively to interiors with at least two plants per room. These changes can be made in an unobtrusive, cost-effective manner.

Objectives of Proposed Plan (Objectives should be listed so they become easier to read)

Installing plantings in Mason Office Center will give visitors and employees a more appealing and cleaner environment, producing positive feelings and greater productivity.

Background

I have been in the interior plant maintenance business for 32 years and have owned and operated Green Thumb Planting for the last seven years. All associates with Green Thumb Planting take pride in their work, and Green Thumb is happy to provide references.

Methods

Within two weeks of your signing a contract, our design team will interview you and produce a plan showing installation, including the number and types of plants, color and design of containers, and placement. The team will adjust the plan according to your preference.

Once the plants cape is installed, Green Thumb Planting staff will visit Mason Office Center once a week to maintain the plants.

Critique:

On analysis of the document, I was able to deduce the errors that were made in drafting of the document. From the onset, the author has not indicated the introduction of the proposal and what it concerns. It does not also have the credentials of the researcher or publisher of the topic. There is also the issue of improper spacing of the paragraphs as some seem to have more spaces than others. There is also the lack of justification of the budget as is expected of any proposal. This makes the presented figures look cooked. Lastly, there seems to be no citation of any manner throughout the document. This means that the information gathered and researched upon has not been utilized and it may be a fictitious budget. A proper introduction should be penned to show the reader the topic of discussion the proposal is handling. There also should be adjustments to the paragraphing. References and factual information should be used and cited to ensure credibility is maintained.
