Final Research Paper

The Final Research Paper is due on December 1. The format for the final paper must be: 8 pages minimum to 10 pages maximum (including bibliography), double-spaced, 1 inch margins, Times New Roman 12 font—with appropriate research and sources to back up your findings and conclusions. Include page numbers at the bottom of each page. Include your name on each page (in the header).

This assignment requires you to deepen your knowledge of an important issue in public service leadership and organizational behavior and apply this knowledge to a challenge faced by a real public service leader. For this assignment:

1) Interview a public service leader facing a formidable challenge(s).

2) Research a public service leadership issue, learning much more about it than is offered in the course readings.

3) Integrate existing research to build your argument (see previous section).

4) Integration: Apply what you have learned from your research to the challenge faced by your interviewee.

Based on your research, develop at least three concrete strategies to help your public service leader meet this challenge.
