An introductory paragraph which includes:
· A clear and logical thesis statement
· A clear plan of development (POD)/claims
· Minimum of three (3) claims
· Claim sentences, which also serve as topic sentences (to be copied & pasted to the initial body paragraphs)
· Research paper MUST follow the POD
· Structure MUST be point and support
· Omit quotations in the introduction.
A rebuttal paragraph which includes:
· Antithesis - Reflects the other side of the argument
· Concluding Statement reflecting the error of the antithesis
A conclusion which includes:
· Restatement of thesis
· Summary of claims

· Statement(s) the significance of the argument
