This question is based on the article given, “COVID-19 impact on sustainable production and operations management” by Kumar, Luthra, Mangla & Kazancoglu (2020).

REQUIRED:

(a) Explain TWO (2) impacts of COVID-19 pandemic on environmental sustainability.

(b) Discuss FOUR (4) actions that should be taken by the government in order to reduce the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on production and service organisations.

(c) Explain TWO (2) actions under each of the FIVE (5) primary activities in Porter’s value chain approach that should be taken by the production organisations in order to reduce the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.
