Project phases

Project initiation

The current project initiation phase will include the implementation of the plan and design of the cloud computing project. An evaluation of the timelines, cost, and goals for the project will also be defined during these phases. The project manager and the team will evaluate the profitability of the project and decide whether the project is viable or not.

Project planning

A project plan will be developed in this phase of the project after receiving the green light to go ahead with the project. The project plan will include risk management strategies, management of suppliers, and communication with stakeholders. The project plan will act as guidance for the project manager and the team. On how to obtain the necessary resources for the project, including the financing and materials required. 

Project Execution

This is the phase where all the work will happen in the project. It will begin with the selection of a service provider for the cloud services, cloud platform, security strategy, and security risk strategy. The core configuration of the data model and customer field will be an essential step towards achieving the goal of the project. The project team will also oversee the creation of staff accounts and profiles during this stage as the location-specific configuration takes place. The incidence workflow, workplace designation, service cloud agent scripts, and business rules will be configured. 

Project monitoring and control

The system should be tested after the configuration and migration, and this will involve the IT manager Future Link as the finalization of the project nears. The project team will also monitor their progress as they calculate key performance indicators as the project closure nears.

Project closure  

The team will hand over the successful project to the CEO of future Link during this phase.
