Preamble to the Constitution of the Republic of Flerus

We, the loyal citizens of the Republic of Flerus, with intention to exemplify a truly great nation that guarantees the protection of natural human rights, practice of impartial justice, creation of an overall prosperous atmosphere, and the provision of defense from threats both foreign and domestic do adopt and accept this Constitution of the Republic of Flerus.

Goals Explained:

The four main goals mentioned in the preamble of the Constitution of the Republic of Flerus are key factors in creating a free nation where all sorts of dreams can be chased. First we have the protection of natural rights, which plays a huge role in building a bond of trust between the people and the government. The guaranteed protection of these rights also helps lessen the amount of room left for corruption in the government. Similarly, the practice of impartial justice is intended to emphasize the presence of the rule of law in the country. No one, not even the people that write the laws, are above it. This once again makes the people feel more secure that the leaders of the country really want to promote equality. Being able to defend your citizens from any type of threat is a core job of any government. The Republic of Flerus aims to provide this protection thus allowing the citizens to continue worrying about their own matters rather than threats. Finally, we desire to have a prosperous atmosphere, both socially and economically. Basically, a country needs to know how to efficiently use resources and plan for the future in order to benefit the welfare of the people. All of the aforementioned goals are fundamental in the creation of this beautiful, free, citizen-oriented country.
