Final Project part 1 and 2 (kee)
Part 1: EDU 262 CLASS PROJECT Instructions-Electronic Resource File
EDU 262 Course Project
Part 1 Content: (100 points)
Rationale: The purpose of this assignment is to develop a credible resource library and reference guide for supporting children and families.
All content must be focused on supporting and advocating for children and their families. All content should be supportive of your particular program or professional circumstances. All websites and webpages must be credible and cannot include Wikipedia or similar sites. Do not use the HCC library as a source for this assignment. The reason is that sharing a link for that source would not be accessible to anyone who does not have a valid HCC username and password.
Suggested scholarly sources include but are not limited to the following:
· https://www.healthychildren.org/English/Pages/default.aspx

· https://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/aces/index.html
· https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/basics/child-development
· Each local resource should include contact information, telephone numbers, websites, addresses, and contact persons.
· For each resource, include a paragraph (5-7 sentences) describing all the ways you can use or plan to use the resource- connecting it to your particular program or professional circumstances.
· This project is intended to be an electronic file so it can be easily accessed and edited over time. Include an active link to each resource. The description will include proper in-text citations. A reference page will be included at the end of the file, noting shared resources.

Use the following five categories to organize your 20 resources:

This resource offers handouts to expectant mothers, parents of infants, and young children with simple tips about oral health. You may use this resource to ensure you are well-informed on how to care for your child’s teeth. The American dental association recommends children visit the dentist for the first time by age 1. Dental hygiene is important for overall health and physical development. Visiting the dentist regularly is the first step in managing or preventing tooth decay and establishing good oral hygiene, (ECLKC, n.d.).
