INSTRUCTIONS

1. You are to develop an organizational development consultation plan

a. The first part of the plan will look at a component of an organization (any organization you chose).  Then you will:

b. Describe the presenting problem then describe

c. The underlying problem

d. Then conduct a SWOT – what is the strength of the organization, what does the organization do well; what are the weakness – the areas the company needs improve upon; opportunities – what are the goals that the organization has and what is the time frame to meet those goals; threats – what are the obstacles the organization is facing.

2. Then identify the performance – level need of the organization – what should happen regarding performance as part of the plan and who should be involved (CEO, Managers, Attorney)

* Your assignment should be approximately 1,000 words in length (typically, four double-spaced pages), not counting cover page and executive summary.

* Your assignment should include a title page and a reference list page (if using references), and be completed in Times New Roman 12-point font, double-spaced, with appropriate header, page numbers, one-inch margins, and meet all other requirements of APA Stylebook.  * A minimum of three references must be used. Please format them in the most current APA format.  * An abstract is required.
