This is a Project in which the student has to develop a Sports Management Project + Presentation

Case: Red Bull GmbH is a Sports Powerhouse. With properties varying from Football to eSports or F1, it was established in the past decades as a top-tier Sports

Holding Group. Liberty Media, City Football Group and Uniter World are other relevant examples of companies diversifying its properties by investing in Sports

Related, Entertainment and Lifestyle ventures.

Project: Create a Sports Holding Group that will convey 3 (minimum) of the following Assets:

• Venue

• Sports Team

• Racing Team

• eSports Team

• Athlete

• Academy

• Media House

• + (optional)

Develop a comprehensive Report containing the following topics

1) Corporate Governance Structure for the Parent Company and 3 Subsidiaries

2) The Nature of the Parent Company and its Subsidiaries (Association, LLC, Corporation, Listed, Joint Venture, etc.)

3) Location: Position the Hub (Holding) in the Map and the Subsidiaries, elaborate about the strategy for the location

4) Define Primary and Secondary Goals of the HUB and Subsidiaries

5) List the Internal, External and Connected Stakeholders of the Parent Company and 3 subsidiaries

6) Design a Management and Financial Framework for the Parent Company and 3 Subsidiaries

7) List the most important revenue sources for the Parent Company and 3 Subsidiaries

8) Define the Mission, Vision and Goals for the HUB (Parent Company) and 3 Subsidiaries

9) Elaborate about the Culture, People and Human Resources for one of the Subsidiaries

10) Elaborate about CSR, Sustainability or other related project the Group will put in place

Weight: This task is a 60% of your total grade for this subject.

• Envision and design the future trends and issues in sport management and assess the importance of research in sport management in a given context

• Critically evaluate how entrepreneurship is applied to sport management and assess its different business models

• Evaluate and appraise the viewpoints and theories of major sport practitioners in the sport management field
