Final project CIT 452
First week: Considering a business situation, identify and select potential IT projects, provide a framework for project prioritization and selection. Structure the project according to the work breakdown structure (WBS) considering 50 activities and tasks.
Final project – take the initial project created during week 1, expand to 200 tasks, build the detailed dependencies; identify risks, identify stakeholders; plan for closure. Plan for management of change and cultural impact. Build a Powerpoint or Word document to describe the project in detail, explain the scope, list key success factors, create the training and development plan.
Summary of documents: Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Word (one can combine the two into a single document), Project Plan (using Microsoft project).
