Pointers

• According to APA guidelines, less than 15% of your paper should be in direct quotes. So,

in a 800-word paper, less than 300 words should be in direct quotations. • Informal discussion with heavy reliance on personal, anecdotal experience without

incorporation of proper citation will receive lower points. • Short papers will be directly uploaded in Turnitin. You can upload multiple times until

the deadline. Make sure that you use the antiplagiarism feature to look at direct word lifting etc. The Turnitin readings ideally should be under 15%. However, if you are getting more than 15% similarity, bring it down by proper paraphrasing and citation.
