Each student will complete a 10 page research paper on any leadership topic. Please be creative with your thoughts and think outside the box with the conclusions you draw. Your paper should transcend the norm and make a point of your own choosing. You must follow APA style requirements, particularly in citing your outside references. You must have at least 8 references and 10 citations in support of your theme(s). Cite references that provide support for a particular concept. The references must come from experts in the field of leadership, preferably from journals or texts. One point will be deducted for each day of late submission beyond the due date. Although cover page, abstract, and reference list are required, they are not included in the minimum page length. The Research Paper is worth 50 points and must include the following:

· Title page: The title page is not numbered and includes the title of the paper, name of student, name of instructor, date, and course #.

· Abstract: Brief abstract summary of the paper. Clarity is essential. Two to four paragraphs are usually sufficient.

· Table of Contents

· Introduction: Background and statement of the problem, purpose of the study, and significance of the study.

· Literature Review: The general history of the topic, the current state, related factors and circumstances, and related research by others.

· Conclusions and Recommendations: Briefly review the general topic and the need to explore the aspect addressed in this research. Briefly review findings from the literature. Briefly describe your final recommendation and discuss implications for management and business.

· References: Only sources of information that have actually been cited in the project are included here.
