NOTE:  Students must receive a passing grade (i.e. 50%) on this assignment to pass this course!

For details on how this assignment will be graded, please review the rubric provided. This paper should build on your coursework to this point.  You should also be incorporating any improvements based on the feedback you have received on your assignments.

During this course, much of your activity has been leading up to the submission of this major paper.  Using the same topic as the previous assignments in this course, you are to submit a comprehensive argument paper on a current health topic  and its impact/effect on the Canadian healthcare system

HINT : It is best if you include an entire section in your paper, with an appropriate level heading, on the impact of your topic on the Canadian health care system.  Review the rubric to identify what should be included in this section for full marks.

To reiterate, topics must be specific.  For example, you cannot write about “heart disease”, but you could write about a new theory regarding heart disease, such as the role of inflammation.  Another example would be writing about increased funding for public health programs and services, but not “health care reform”.

As formatting your submissions in APA 7th edition has been a major portion of this course, the TA has been given the authority to override the rubric mark and fail the paper if there does not appear to be a reasonable attempt at APA formatting made on your paper.  Writing papers in APA format is a requirement in the Faculty. Therefore, you must do it.

Be assured that before anyone is given a failure for the above reason, I will review the paper and confirm the failure status.  There are resources provided for you in the course, including an APA template paper, to support you in formatting your papers according to APA standards.  So, ensure you make use of them now, and throughout your studies.
