Can anyone do this final exam paper
Final Paper instructions
Analyze one of the documentary films listed below, making sure to answer all of the following questions:
1. What is the social problem discussed in this film? Why is this a social problem?
0. How can each of the three main sociological perspectives (functionalist, conflict, and interactionist) explain something about how this problem works?
0. How does the problem discussed in the film connect to other social problems we have discussed in class this semester?
0. Based on what we’ve discussed in class this semester, as well as your own opinion and perspective, what do you think are some possible solutions to the film’s problems that we could undertake collectively, as a society?
This paper is designed to be the culmination of all the work we have done in this class this semester. It takes the place of a final exam and is worth 20 percent of your course grade.
Here are some additional guidelines for the work that you will turn in:
1. Your final paper should be 1000-1200 words – that’s about three double-spaced pages. This is too short for any type of sub-headings within your paper. The four questions above should be answered in paragraphs that transition into one another in a complete essay, including an introduction and conclusions
0. Everyone must submit an electronic version of their paper on Blackboard through Turn It In. There will be zero tolerance for plagiarism of any kind, and in the case of plagiarism, I will make a judgement about your grade in consultation with the Turn It In report. It should go without saying that this needs to be your original work.
Papers are due at the start of our scheduled final exam period – Monday, May 3 at 11:00 AM.
