FinalPaperguidance.docx

Your final paper should be 4-6 pages double-spaced, with 12-pt Times New Roman or Arial font and 1-inch margins. For the final paper, you will write about two of the films you have previously written about in your response papers. You may choose any two films. In your paper, you will expand upon what you have already written about each film as well as discussing the films in the context of one another. View this as a more thorough and detailed response paper. Your final will consist of three parts:

1) brief summaries or overviews of each film (2 paragraphs total)

2) a 2-3 page cultural analysis of the films in the context of one another. This may include comparing and contrasting the films in various ways, for instance: discussing the cultural differences between films from different countries, comparing the themes of the films to one another, examinations of the characters (e.g. how are women portrayed in each film?) or other forms of analysis

3) your personal response or thoughts about the two films
