Change in Temperature Clothing Brand

During winter and summer the most uncomfortable feeling is feeling too hot or

cold. This affects more people in the winter because they do not even want to step a

foot out their house. But what if I told you my team and I made specific clothing that will

change it’s temperature on its own depending on the weather. I will also make sweat

proof clothing which means no more sweat stains in the summer.

My competitor is the brand Hypercolor and Heat Reaction Shirts. Their weakness

is that their shirts change color due to the temperature. I find this a weakness because I

would not want my clothes to change color, I would only want the temperature of the

fabric to change. I believe this would attract more clients because working in a

professional setting, it would not be convenient for the workers if their clothes are

changing color all the time. Also I saw a few pictures from Hypercolor and it seems that

not the entire color of the shirt changed but only specific spots. To me this looks

unhygienic because it looks like sweat stains or that the shirt is dirty. Not to mention that

no one wants to be singled out from everyone else that they are wearing these clothing.

I will open my store in New York City and hopefully in the future to branch off to

more stores in the East Coast. When my company becomes huge I will bring it to

Europe. I will be targeting the East Coast specifically because we experience different

weather all year round. Many states such as Texas and Floridia only have hot weather

so I would not make as much profit over there. Sure, they can still purchase online

because the clothes are also sweat proof so this can be convenient for the people over

there.

Specifically in New York there are many people who work in Business

corporations and Tech companies. If you’re living in Manhattan then everyone either

walks or takes Taxis and Ubers to their destination. I got an idea from a friend of mine

who's been living in the city for 2 years now. She always tells me the worst part of NY is

walking to your destination in the freezing cold. No matter how many layers you put on

you will feel coldness. That is where my idea came up. What if I design a fabric that will

change temperature? For example in the winter the clothes will be designed to keep you

warm and in the summer it will keep you cool.

For my team I would hire a project team, operation, marketing, virtual team and

employees for my in person store. Since I am the owner I would take part in every team

but to not feel overwhelmed with everything I would want help from people who have

experience. For the project team we will be discussing new pieces of clothing and

styles. They will also be in charge of when is the best time to release those clothing.

The operation team will be the ones to acquire inventory and deliver customer’s

expectations. The marketing team will be the ones to send out emails, reach customers

and set up events to gain more clients. The virtual team will be the ones to handle

customer service such as instant messaging, video conferences and emails. Lastly, I will

hire retail workers to work in my store as cashiers and on the floor/fitting room.

My financial projection budget is $10,000 to start and I hope to profit back double

by one year. My future milestone would be to have multiple stores in the United States

then hopefully to have my store in Europe. To generate passive income from my

business and not having to work a 9-5 job would be my ultimate goal.
