FinalPaper.docx

This week, the outline for your final paper is due. The outline should include a completed introduction, breakdown of each section as well as annotated bibliographies for your selected resources. The final paper guidelines are provided again below.

Imagine you were to start your own company or be hired as HRM for a new organization. Decide what industry this organization would be and outline the specific choices you make setting up this new company. Specifically, what currents trends in HRM would affect your decisions, composition of your labor force, recruitment strategies and job placement? What safeguards you would put in place to comply with EEOC and other federal employment laws? What methods would be considered best practice for designing jobs in this company? Outline the training programs that would available and how you would approach employee development, how employee performance would be evaluated, the pay structure, benefits package, and incentive programs.

There is substantial latitude in the scope of this paper. However, you will need to support your decisions with existing peer-reviewed literature. You can find journal articles in the library. Please steer clear of websites such as Wikipedia and other non-professional resources. The final paper will be 15-20 pages using MLA or APA format ting, including 8 or more peer-reviewed sources. Cover pages and citations are excluded from your page count.

In addition to the outline due this week, there will be other components due later in the course:

· Week 6 - The rough draft is due. It should be a comprehensive in nature. This is an opportunity for you to get feedback to make any necessary changes for the final draft.

· Week 8 - The final paper is due.
