Abstract

Imcivree medication is one of the available medications in the treatment of obesity and management of hunger from the genetic conditions of the brain. Imcivree also controls weight by altering the metabolism of the body. Hunger is directly associated with the intake of excess calories, which increases body weight. The medication can be used in children over six years and adults with genetic factors associated with obesity. The use of the medication relies on the understanding of the specific concepts and how the medication works. The paper seeks to explore the effectiveness of Imcivree in reducing body weight and determining the effectiveness of the medication on feelings of hunger.

Introduction

Imcivree is a common drug used to treat obesity (Markham, 2021). The drug's effectiveness is based on how well it has been administered and how its administration is being monitored. The drug is used differently for different populations based on their age. Depending on the dosage of the drug, there are different ways that the body reacts, which determines how well obesity is managed for the person in question. For anyone who has accepted the use of this drug in managing their health, there are some warnings because the drug tends to disrupt some biological processes of the body.

Problem statement

Imcivree has been seen as an effective strategy for tackling obesity. The need to tackle obesity among the population is driven by the health complications that emanate from obesity. This research paper is meant to address what responsible use of Imcivree looks like and what irresponsible use of this drug is. This research paper sheds light on health complications that arise from the use of Imcivree, either as per the dosage prescription or under an overdose scenario.

Literature Review

A. Dosage and administration

1. Dosage among adults

This section sheds light on the Imcivree is administered among adults. To be specific, adults are assumed to be anyone who is above the age of 12 years.

2. Dosage among children

This is also necessary to try and identify if there is any unwanted side effect that the patient could have suffered.

B. Forms of dosages and their strengths

1. Injection

2. Injection tends to be the common type of dosage form used. This section sheds light on how the injection is done and the content of the drug injected into the patient's body.

Lactating mothers have a significant threat that they are exposed to as well. This section brings this into context and introduces some necessary precautions (Mahmood & Pettinato, 2021).

E. Conclusion
