1. Discuss three issues covered that pertain to global feminism. For example, several issues I find interesting in women and Islam/ women and religion and femicide in the Americas. MAKE ONE OF YOUR ISSUES VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN INDIA, AS YOU SAW IN INDIA'S DAUGHTER. So then, pick two additional issues and discuss:

A. where does the issue originate? B. what exactly is occurring and where? C. What is the counterargument? In other words, what is the line of thinking of those who oppose feminism or are oppressing women? D.Solvency: what can be done to solve the problem? What would you recommend to solve the problem based on your reading?

2. Include an Intro with thesis statement and conclusion.

3. For EACH issue, cite two-course readings/media sources. Cite them IN TEXT and on the works cited page in APA style. For example, your in-text citations will look like this (Kristof and WuDunn, 2009). These are the author's last names and publication years for Half the Sky. I will deduct major points for not fulfilling this requirement. So for each issue, you must have a minimum of TWO sources. Include them at the end of essay one.

4. Check your grammar and spelling! Required; Double spaced, 12 pt font, 1-inch margins, 1.¾ -page minimum. Also, think twice before you plagiarize from outside sources. When you submit on BB, a special tool will tell me what percentage of your paper is plagiarized. It is not worth it; I am here to help you until the end of this course and will do what I need to to help you succeed.
