ESSAY 2
Final Exam Essays 2
Essay Question 2
In this course you studied FIVE themes: Humans and the Environment (Climate Change), Roots of Inequality (Gender), Diverse Ways of Thinking (Capitalism vs Socialism), Our Shrinking World (Globalization), and Roots of Contemporary Conflicts (Palestinian-Israeli Conflict).
Reflect on what you learned this quarter and discuss the connections you now make between at least TWO of those themes and explain those connections through using examples from course materials. Cite your sources to document those examples. Research for sources other than course materials is NOT required.
For example, you look back on the Humans and the Environment theme and now see the roles of Capitalism and Globalization in how humans interact and affect the environment. In your essay, you then explain the connections among those three themes and provide examples from the course materials with citations.
Answer the above question in an essay of at least 500 words but no more than 1200 words . Because this is a reflection essay, you may use first person "I" throughout (such as: "I see how these themes...."). Cite your sources in Chicago Notes and Bibliography style.
Review the Grading Rubric below to see how your essay is scored.
