• Submit the exam as a Word or PDF file via the course Canvas site o To submit, go to Assignments then Final Exam and upload the completed document o The exam is due by Tuesday December 10th at 11:59 PM

• Include a cover page using APA style format Final Exam – Case Study Developing a Budget for NAIA Football National Championship

You are the Athletic Director of the Reinhardt University Eagles (GA) in Waleska, GA. Your football team is currently in the quarterfinals of the NAIA national championship tournament. You must plan a budget for a potential trip to the NAIA championship game in Daytona Beach. Include these sections of the exam:

• Title Page

• Abstract Page (75-150 words explaining what you are submitting … as if providing to superior)

• Budget Chart – Line Item Chart Summary Estimating Expenditures

• Travel Party Roster o Travel Party cannot exceed 120 people o Provide a list of names for the official travel party o Categorize by Administrators; Coaches; Staff; Players (you determine how many of each) o Within the categories, alphabetize by last name first o You can find this information on the school website

• Departure and Return Information: Dates/Times/Locations

• Transportation Plans o Name of carrier (e.g. airline information; bus; charter company) o Address transportation To and From destination sites o Address transportation To and From lodging site to practice and/or game site

• Lodging Accommodations with specific contact information and rates

• Meal Accommodations with specific contact information and rates

• Miscellaneous – Explanation of any other expenditures you deem necessary Helpful Tip Complete the Budget Chart last. You will need to put in research and work to determine actual costs for different aspects of the trip. Avoid simply listing broad categories, such as “Airline Cost” with a dollar amount. You need to provide specifics – e.g. airline name, flight number, bus line, whatever. You need to analyze and/or contact restaurants in the area to ask about deals, contact charter bus companies, etc. It is your responsibility to develop this trip so that it runs smoothly. Use sound fiscal management.
