F Delivery
Final Deliverable
For the final deliverable, the assignment is to revise both your dashboard and analysis presentations based on the feedback you have received. Revising and improving drafts of work is an important practice for success and thus will be 40% of the grade of this assignment.
Requirements:
1. At minimum, students must implement the feedback that I have provided for the dashboard and presentation assignments. If you are confused or disagree with any feedback I have provided, please reach out this week for clarification. (I will provide feedback on analysis presentation submissions as soon as possible).
2. You should also consider the peer review feedback you received and incorporate that into your changes as appropriate.
3. Your analysis presentation should include at least one calculation that helps tell your story. You can use calculations as statements that can help to give context to the story. Example: Traffic increased by 30% compared to last year. 30% is more meaningful to readers than stating that traffic increased by 16,421 visits. Your role as the creator is to give the reader context of what your data means and why they should care about what your presentation says.
Note:
Expect a more rigorous grading of these final deliverables since you have time this week, feedback, and course experience to make improvements. Getting a good score on the first draft submissions does not guarantee a good score on the final. This grade is dependent upon making thoughtful updates based on feedback and what you have learned this quarter. Plan to do more than just small tweaks like using a different font size. There should be improvements at all levels (design, meaning, accuracy) based on the feedback I provided. Having said that, I will also be spending more time grading formatting details with the revised versions. These revised versions should be treated as if you are presenting them to important marketing leaders, so there should be no typos, copy/paste issues, etc.
The remaining 60% of the grade will be based on the evaluation categories we have been using this quarter:
accuracy, data visualization best practices (annotation, chart types, formatting), presentation best practices (flow, formatting, appropriate visualizations, spelling & grammar) and overall clarity of story.
Make sure to meet all criterias according to the screenshots below.
