Social Discrimination is Unjustified
“Ah, look, Mustafa left his bombs home; ‘ bout to get him some. (Laughing). The life
of every human being is precious and has to be protected by any government of the day in
any country. It is the role of the government or authorities within any country to ensure that
they enforce the rule of law and obey the rights of every person. People did not need to be
discrimination or did not need to be bullied because they are from given region, race, culture
or religion. The human being life is guided based on the rights and the rule of law, the rights
indicate that a person has the right to protect themselves no matter their race, country of
origin or their gender.

hard for one to understand, however, these is inherent and evidence of self will in whatever
we are doing. Naz feels like going out with his friends, however, he does not feel like being
behind and reading the books which have been provided to him by the teacher. There is
choice and preference potraid at this point, one would be willing to do whatever they want to
do and whatever they feel comfortable with.
Nasir Kan is a Muslim, in the eyes of the unknown people, they believed the Naz has
the same blood as Ben Laden who made the 911 terrorist attacks , further, the people who do
not know him believe that he is part and parcel of the believers of the same religion which

facilitated the 9/11 attack. Hence, Naz seemed to be treat to their security due to his presence
within the vicinity. This is good example of social discrimination which is portrayed at high
degree and may cause different harm to the person targeted. In this situation, the social
discrimination comes in that, the people around Naz classify him to have character as the
same as the people who conducted the act or terrorist, the discrimination does not just stop at
that point, however, they generalize the religion to be part of the terrorist act of 9/11 was
organized and conducted. Such kind do social discrimination may be hard for one to realize,
however, they are sort of discriminations which occur daily and they affect the people in
different ways.
Nasir Kan just like any other human being have the right to life and death. The
decision to die or live need one to be sober so that they can arrived at, however, under various
circumstance, a group of people may willing terminate the life of another person's. Just like
the policeman have done it over and over, the same was almost happening to Nasir. The
termination of life of people was as well witnessed in the early years where leaders would
have the right to award people whom they believed have wronged the country life sentence or
they be hanged. This is immorality in the modern world today and one would not be allowed
to commit such atrocities no matter the level of power which they possess.
Naz was found with a bloody knife, which made the police believe that he was the
main killer. Being found with bloody knife is an enough evidence worth an arrest and be
labeled a suspect. On the other hand , being found with knife is not enough proof beside
being evidence that you killed or you took part in process of the killing. However, in the
scenario of Naz, it is that Naz was not responsible for the killings and was an innocent person
who just found himself in the scuffle. Further, Naz made several explanations to the police.
However, the explanation he made landed him into more troubles than saving him and his

reputation to the general public. The police did not care to listen but reprimanded him which
showed that he a predetermined decision on how he would handle Naz because he was found
in the situation.
The scene further helps in understanding the negligence and the laziness which was
portrayed by detective Dennis Box; he was not concerned that the girl was brutally murdered.
In a society where one's political lineage is enough to define who they are, what they intend
to do, or generally make people have a given misconception about them, it is advisable that
one who present the government like police officer have to be diligent in whatever they do
and must act professionally at all time while on duty (Foucault)
The police officer in this case is just like any other person who was in the scene and
failed to assess the situation to come up with a concrete decision, as such, Naz had no blood
stain on his body which is enough for the police officer to be alert and be wise with his
decisions from the scene. Also, the detective did not do any inquiry to find out why Naz
killed Andrea Cornish. It is the responsibility of the police to interrogate a suspect so that
they can know what transpired under given situation. Nasir suffered the consequences of
racism, the people around the scene seemed to be more racism and them believed that Nasir
was the murderer not because of evidence but because of his race.
Racial discrimination was portrayed even before the 7th century. During this time,
"sex" seemed have been demonized and was secluded fact for people to talk about or discuss
in open places. The social discrimination can be conducted even though sexual harassment
which may be hard for one to detect or say how it occurred. Sexual discrimination is
portrayed in the scene by the females who attended the party secluding Naz, it also believed
that the lady in the scene was killed based on love triangle which is same has sexual
harassment and discrimination. The feminism in her could have caused her, or landed her the

death which she did not deserve at the time. According to Foucault, sexual discrimination can
come from different sections, either the male can discriminate the female or female
discriminate the male.
In conclusion, the scene portrays that racial discrimination is a common issue and one
would be a victim of the circumstances because of their race. People have suffered various
consequences just like Naz because of their race. I believe that the story would have been
different if it was a white person who would have been found under the same circumstances.
From the scene, it is clear that racial discrimination can be conducted be a person of any rank
and how they conduct it would vary from one situation to another.
